As part of its mandate to support French international solidarity associations, the NGO's Microprojects division La Guilde offers new training sessions in micro-development project management. The training courses present simple methodological tools for setting up a development project. They allow participants to master the language of development and donors, allowing for a more "professional" presentation of their project. They offer participants the opportunity to acquire theoretical and methodological elements related to development project management. They combine theory and practical exercises. These training courses are also a place for exchanges and networking between associations or project leaders.
Objective of the training: Development of a budget and search for financing in a micro-development project:
After designing and planning a project, you need to finance the initiative. You must therefore be able to list all the expenses inherent to the project and plan them throughout the project. The objective of this training is therefore to provide you with the keys and tools to carry out a effective and targeted search for funding depending on the themes and geographical location of your project and your association.
The training is organized over one day, with theoretical elements supported – according to a participatory and interactive training principle – by practical cases, testimonials and exercises. The forecast budget, the accounting documents to be provided, the obligations of organizations (accountability, reporting, etc.) will be addressed. This training also allows to look at a typology of funders (companies, communities, public, private, etc.), to compare them and to reflect on different types of plan proposals based on this typology.
The main target audience is primarily small and medium-sized NGOs and international solidarity associations. Participants may have a minimum knowledge of methodology, but this is not mandatory.
