Teaming up for equality: when sport becomes a driver of cooperation

Agency for Gender Equality - Chancellor

Chancegal is a Réunion-based association dedicated to promoting equal opportunities for women and men, founded in 2001. For over 22 years, it has been working to raise awareness of equality and diversity, particularly among young people, and to train adults while supporting networking among stakeholders committed to this cause. In recent years, Chancegal has expanded its activities to the field of sports with the aim of reducing discriminatory practices, fostering a culture of equality, and educating for mutual respect. Each year, approximately 4,000 people benefit from its 250 training and awareness-raising programs.
