Microprojects, through their local roots and the diversity of their actions, are an important asset due to their ability to directly respond to the basic needs of populations. These microprojects must respond to local demand and seek a lasting improvement in living conditions and the empowerment of populations in difficulty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This partnership between La Guilde and the Pierre Fabre Foundation allows us to offer you a call for projects on the dual theme of \u201cHealth and Development\u201d offering grants of up to<strong> <\/strong>30 000 \u20ac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Funding<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The grants awarded may&nbsp;<strong>\u20ac5,000 to \u20ac30,000<\/strong>&nbsp;per project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>List of activities or expenses not eligible for funding granted under this call for projects:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>expenses incurred before the closing date of this call for projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>purchasing in France and sending medicines internationally<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the payment of salaries or allowances in France and costs related to a volunteer contract (such as International Solidarity Volunteer or Civic Service).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>financing of voluntary actions or projects for young people or students,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>microfinance activities: micro-savings, micro-credit, micro-insurance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>materials and equipment purchased in France (only if not available on site).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>These ineligible expenses can nevertheless be mentioned in the project budget but must be covered by another donor or by the association&#039;s own funds.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility criteria<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Eligible organizations<\/mark><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be an association under the 1901 law of French law<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have more than 2 years of seniority on the closing date of the session<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have a head office based in the Occitanie region<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have annual resources of less than 200,000 euros (income statements validated by the last General Meeting)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have their own legal existence and accounting (for regional branches of national structures).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The project<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>In accordance with the missions of the Pierre Fabre Foundation and La Guilde, this call for projects concerns<strong> any initiative whose main objective is to improve the health of a target population and which may include a component of local development and\/or access to essential services (for example: water, hygiene and sanitation, energy, nutrition, education and awareness, etc.).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Submitted projects must also meet the following criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be carried out in a country eligible for the OECD Development Assistance Committee (consult the list of eligible countries), with the exception of Mali (due to decisions by the Malian and French authorities),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have an implementation period of between 1 and 3 years (including monitoring and evaluation phases),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Present future activities and not past ones (if activities have already taken place in the past, they should be summarized in the historical section of the project. Project expenses will be eligible from the closing date of the call for projects),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be carried out with a local partner (moral and not physical group) and be the subject of a partnership agreement,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit a financing plan demonstrating the acquisition of at least 80% of the total project budget (including valuations and allocations from this call for projects). Valuations cannot represent more than 25% of the total budget.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color\" style=\"color:#f97660\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Are not eligible<\/mark><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Projects aimed at financing are not eligible<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>exclusively:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the construction of infrastructure (without proven autonomy),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>structural or operating costs (charges, salaries);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>emergency or immediate post-crisis actions,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the purchase and shipment of equipment,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>support for international travel (tickets, visas, vaccinations, etc.),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>vehicle purchase,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>feasibility studies,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>productions of documentaries or artistic works.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Projects that have already received direct or indirect funding from:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2013 from the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE):&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Financial arrangements of the French Embassies,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Youth, International Solidarity \/ City, Life, Vacation-International Solidarity (JSI\/VVV-SI) schemes,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fonjep,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Funds from the International Organization of the Francophonie from the MEAE.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2013 from the French Development Agency (AFD) \u2013 non-exhaustive list:&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Forum of International Solidarity Organizations from Migration (FORIM) in particular via the Support Program for Projects of International Solidarity Organizations from Immigration (PRA\/OSIM),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Small Initiatives Programme of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Family Farming Promotion Scheme in West Africa of the French Committee for International Solidarity (CFSI).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-default\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Selection criteria<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Particular attention will be paid to the following aspects:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Proven quality of the medical project (response to a need identified and validated by the health authorities, consistency with public health plans implemented at local and\/or national level, quantifiable impact on the health of populations),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Innovative aspects,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Taking into account cross-cutting themes (notably issues related to gender, youth or the environment),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Feasibility of the project, particularly with regard to current security constraints for projects taking place in areas classified as red\/orange by the MEAE,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to implement locally the allocated resources (structures, human resources, etc.) and to evaluate the results of the project (implementation and monitoring of results and impact indicators);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expertise of the project leader in the targeted theme(s);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Project sustainability strategy and autonomy of beneficiaries at the end of the project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Funding applications are made exclusively online on the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.portailsolidaire.org\/projets\/login\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Solidarity Portal<\/a>.
