Any application submitted outside this bracket will be considered ineligible.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program selection process <strong>\u201cSport in the service of women\u2019s emancipation\u201d <\/strong>takes place after a single open application phase <strong>from November 2 to December 14.<\/strong>&nbsp;<br>Each candidate structure can only submit one file and one funding request. &nbsp;<br>The list of selected projects (around 16 winners) will be communicated <strong>mid-February 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility criteria<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Requesting organizations:<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Structures recognized as being of public utility (associations, foundations, local authorities, associative sports clubs, sports federations, GIE \/ GIC, cooperatives, state structures) can register and complete their funding application.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These structures must:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be recognized public utility structures and be registered in the country of project action for at least 2 years (and have proof of this);&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have annual resources equal to or less than <strong>500 000 \u20ac,<\/strong> according to the latest approved annual accounts.<strong> This criterion does not apply to FIFA member associations.<\/strong> for which there is no annual resource limit;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be legally independent and autonomous, and not have been convicted of a practice prohibited by local authorities or of corruption;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have an accounting system that complies with the national accounting standards of the country concerned. The accounting system must enable a third-party expert to obtain an overview of the company&#039;s business transactions and its financial situation within a reasonable time;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have properly prepared financial statements, for example by an external audit body;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comply with national procurement standards;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate a long-term strategy and vision and have a monitoring and evaluation system in place.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Football federations <strong>non-members<\/strong> of FIFA <strong>will not be eligible.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Projects:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">The funded projects will be deployed over a minimum period of <strong>9 months and a maximum duration of 11 months from March 2024<\/strong>The time constraint will particularly favor duplication projects, the development\/strengthening of a component of a more global program, the strengthening of human resources capacities, and the implementation of specific actions in favor of the emancipation of women. All sports are eligible for this call for projects. However, projects using football will be prioritized when they are led by a FIFA member federation.&nbsp;<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">The following projects are not eligible:<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Microfinance, microcredit, microsavings, and cascading financing projects;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Relating solely to the transport of materials (local purchasing and the development of local trade are favored unless impossible);&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Relating solely to field assessments;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Whose main activity corresponds solely to the organization of an event;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Having only a sporting purpose;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Selection criteria<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The project must: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be held in one of the eligible countries mentioned in Article 1 of these regulations. Areas classified as red by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs are eligible (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.diplomatie.gouv.fr\/fr\/dossiers-pays\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.diplomatie.gouv.fr\/fr\/dossiers-pays\/<\/a>) ;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Target women and girls as a priority, while not neglecting the importance of men and boys in women&#039;s empowerment. Particular attention will be given to projects that specifically target, directly or indirectly, vulnerable women who are victims of intersectional discrimination;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Using sport as a tool for women&#039;s emancipation. <strong>All sports are eligible<\/strong>. For projects using football, projects supported by a FIFA member association will be given priority. For other sports, there is no specific priority rule;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The total amount of expenses must not exceed <strong>\u20ac150,000<\/strong>(excluding valuations)<strong> <\/strong>;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take place between March 2024, after signing the financing agreement, and end no later than February 2025 with a minimum implementation period of 9 months and a maximum duration of 11 months.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Projects must use sport as a means to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, and more specifically as a key lever to combat identified vulnerabilities faced by women and girls.&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Projects must integrate traditional development aid criteria:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Articulation of the project in its social, environmental, institutional context and relevance to public policies, plans and orientations of national, regional or local development;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Consistency with existing public and private systems;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Agreement from local or national authorities desired;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Project sustainability: management capacity and long-term economic balance (coverage of operating and maintenance costs), once the investment phase is completed;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Involvement of beneficiaries: participation of beneficiaries in the design and management of the project and ownership of the results by the local community;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Project impacts: explanations of the project&#039;s impacts on the development themes mentioned above;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Results indicators: ability to measure the short and long-term impacts of the project;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The innovative or replicable aspect of the project (in terms of appropriate technologies, participation of the local private sector, participation of beneficiaries, risk management, etc.) will be points of attention.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"><br>Funding applications from La Guilde&#039;s microprojects division are made entirely online on the Solidarity Portal. <\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each association can only present one project per call for projects.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Register to submit your project before the session closing date:<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-fill\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.portailsolidaire.org\/projets\/login?_locale=fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Submit a project<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Through the &quot;Sport for Women&#039;s Empowerment&quot;
